Flavoured Milkshakes and Fruit Iced Drinks

Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council has a requirement for milkshakes and ice based flavoured drinks in a variety of flavours including but not limited to fruit, banana, strawberry and chocolate. The purpose of this PIN is for market engagement purposes only and the Council may choose to competitively tender this opportunity at a later date. The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) has a requirement for milkshakes and iced based flavoured drinks in a variety of flavours including but not limited to fruit, banana, strawberry and chocolate. The product should have a shelf life of at least 12 months and be able to be stored in ambient conditions. Nutritional information after dilution should be available for all products including any allergen information. The Contract will cover the purchase of ingredients and will require the necessary drink dispensing equipment to mix and serve the product to be provided Free on Loan. It is essential that products meet the Scottish School Food Standards which can be found at: https://www.gov.scot/publications/healthy-eating-schools-guidance-2020/. Products that do not meet these standards will not be able to be used within an education setting and thus will not qualify for this tender.
