Appointment of IST for Manor Park Moneymore Small Settlements Capital Programme 2020-2024

Tender description

The project will seek to facilitate physical regeneration within Manor Park through • Provision of Signage, bins, seats and interpretation panels. (Note MUDC will provide the interpretation information) • Signage linkages from Manor Park to Moneymore Recreation Centre, play park and national trust site (Springhill). • Resurface and installation of low-level lighting on the path network to improve accessibility and safety for all users throughout the year. • Installation of lighting within the carpark area providing year round safe usage of the site including extension of existing car-park facility to max out available area/budget including general re-surfacing and associated line marking. • A physical differentiation between the walking path and the car parking spaces. • Creation of an accessible picnic area. • Remove and dispose existing maze. • Concrete base installation for future art pieces by others. • Sluice and weir works to assist with river flow and prevent silting, improvement works to pond and small stream. • Overall improvements of accessibility access to all areas of the site to ensure DDA compliance. • Repair/replace construction works to small bridge crossings as deemed necessary by ICT • Construction of band stand with power supply.
