Replacement of Heat Pumps and Associated Engineering Modifications

Tender description

You are invited to submit a tender for the plant replacement and associated modifications of engineering services at Ty Penallta. The scope of the project is fully described in the ITT but in summary the scope is: Accept delivery and off load and position on new bases, 3 number, free issue, new Carrier heat pumps. Adjust services in accordance with design package to allow the building to be served from 3 new Hoval condensing gas fired boilers, supplied, installed and commissioned as part of this contract. The replacement of the whole of the existing Trend BMS system to a new Cylon based control system generally as detailed in the design package. Replacement of all existing fan coil units including all service and control valves. Replacement of all thermostatic radiator valves in the core areas. Installation of new perimeter heating controls All associated electrical works All associated builders work. Commissioning of all new and existing mechanical engineering services throughout the building. A design has been procured by the Council from Sustainable Energy Ltd who shall be the Principal Designer for this project. Sustainable Energy shall also provide Project Management and cost control management for this project on behalf of the Council. Full details can be found in the ITT
