ATU seeks submissions from contractors to carry out Phase 3C Works at its Killybegs Campus. Works are divided into separate sections as follows: Main Building • Canteen Refurbishment • Entrance Foyer upgrade • Re-roof and upgrade thermal insulation to pitched and flat roof areas of Level 1 extension • Handrail edge protection required to flat roof area • Minor fit-out alterations to Classroom OB207 Millennium Building • Improve universal access to and within building • FSC Regularisation works required • Replacement of external gutters Tourism Building • Improve universal access to and within building • FSC Regularisation works required • Internal alterations to form 2No. Workshops for electrical apprentices, and associated staff accommodation • Replacement of external gutters Site • Improve ramp and steps between main building and M and T buildings • Provide level access from disabled parking at rear of M and T buildings • Resurfacing of road to rear of the campus • White lining to car park to define additional disabled space and EV charging points This educational campus is a ‘live’ site environment where many diverse activities take place on a daily basis on a relatively confined site. Activities include education, training, study, examinations, conferring of awards, business, special events, and recreation etc. These activities are supported by facilities services including catering, cleaning, repair, maintenance, goods deliveries and waste removal etc. It is essential that all existing operations of the client body are maintained operational and protected during any construction activities.
