Supply and Installation of New Play Equipment

Tender description

Send Parish Council seeks to award a contract (worth up to £25,000) for the removal of the existing multiplay on the site and the supply and installation of new play equipment; alongside the existing apparatus on land it manages at Maple Road Playground in Send. This includes provision and installation of any required or appropriate groundworks, preparation and safety surfacing. The equipment can occupy a bigger area than the present slide but it will be on the same site. The structure must be suited to a broad age range of children, from toddlers up to 12 years old. The challenge is to provide inclusive apparatus that caters to all age ranges with stimulating pieces; that children are excited to use. This new multi-play features could include; • Slide • Multiple access points • Climbing net • Climbing wall • Play spinner Given the anticipated use of the play area, equipment must be safe, robust and vandal-proof. Send Parish Council would like installation to start as soon as possible in December 2023 and be completed before the end of January 2023.
