Social Value & Climate emergency event

North Somerset Council would like to invite any interested SMEs to a workshop on finding out more about Social Value & Climate Emergency. With Social Value commitments and Climate Emergency forming an integral part of our tendering processes, the Council are looking to ensure smaller organisations are not at a disadvantage and have the understanding of how to create, measure and report on the Social Value that their business can create. The council’s Climate Emergency Project officer will also talk about the council’s commitment to become carbon neutral by 2030. The workshop will also look at how this knowledge can be best written into your bid submissions. The event will be held on MS Teams on Monday 18th September from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Expressing interest on the portal will not result in an invitation to the event.
