Market Engagement exercise for the provision of coach/minibus service hire with driver

Tender description

The purpose of this prior information notice is to request expressions of interest from the market to participate in a market engagement exercise for the provision of coach/minibus hire services with driver. The market engagement exercise will help inform the Council of the best procurement strategy for the services, i.e use of lots, considerations for the specification and pricing. Lot 1: The hire of coach/minibus service with driver shall be used by Council Departments, to facilitate transportation throughout the year for various annual events and ad hoc journeys with seasonal activities such as Summer Schemes being the busiest and concentrated time when transportation will be required. The Council requires coach/minibus of variable sizes, but the most commonly used are those with 16, 24, 33 and 53+ seats, a number of coach/minibus in each available size need to be wheelchair accessible or suitable for passengers with mobility aids.
