Construction of new 615m2 (nett) lightweight modular building on traditional foundations in courtyard area enclosed on three sides by Radiology Dept (West), Antenatal Unit (North) and 1960s Hospital Corridor (South) with links to Antenatal and 1960s Corridor for ease of pedestrian flow on completion. The works involve but not limited to:- -Break open concrete and tarmac hardstanding to facilitate installation of new drainage. Grub up and remove all old/redundant drainage. - Form new concrete raft foundations, cast concrete sub floor with opes in floors as required. - Supply and install prefabricated lightweight modular unit, internal and external walls, roof and all required openings. - Form built up roof extending over Ante Natal completing warm roof construction including all service penetrations and roof lights. - Carry out all works required to comply with the fire safety and DAC certificates. - Install all mechanical and electrical services as set out in the Consultant Engineer’s documentation. - Prepare all walls and surfaces for application of new finishes. - Supply and fit new internal and external signage. - Allow for installation of all new and relocated equipment. - Siteworks: excavate in road and paved areas, prepare base and pave, with kerbing. Form external drainage connections and reinstate yard concrete. Form new roundabout and drop off point and paving to tie in with existing levels.
