Conservation Repair and Renewal of Main Slated Roofs at Fota House Cork for the Irish Heritage Trust.

Tender description

The Works comprise the stripping and re-slating of the existing Main House Roof together with the adjoining Library Pavilion Roof to the South and the Dining Room Pavilion Roof to the North together including associated flat roofing, leadwork to gutters, chimneys, ridges etc, isolated lime rendering and stonework repairs, minor joinery works and works in refurbishing metal rooflights all on the Listed historic building which will require continuous weathering from the elements with all works employing best conservation practice and conservation techniques in a "live" occupied campus/visitor attraction/public domain as per as the Detailed Drawings, Specifications and other Documents which form part of the Tender Documents/Works Requirements.
