Tender description

Phase one: 1. To arrange for the existing lights to be disconnected. 2. To strip, remove and dispose of the asbestos insulation board ceiling located within the storeroom and adjacent toilets. Work to be carried out within 2 enclosures but in parallel as the void above will likely be linked and shared. To vacuum, decontaminate and prepare for air testing. 3. To provide a UKAS accredited laboratory to carry out a 4 stage clearance test and to issue a certificate of reoccupation. Phase two: To supply and install 12.5mm plasterboard screwed up to the existing timberwork. To tape and fill the joints. To sand and prepare for decoration. All other gaps to be sealed with mastic. To supply and apply 2 coats of vinyl matt emulsion. To arrange for the replacement of the existing lights and reconnection.
