Ballaghaderreen Town Public Realm Enhancement Scheme

Tender description

The site is located in Ballaghaderreen County Rosscommon and includes Market Square, parts of Main street (R293), parts of Barrack Street (L1244) parts of Pound Street (R293) Cathedral Street and Chapel Street. The proposed works comprise of the following: - Urban Realm improvements including: - Changes to layouts at Market Square - Changes to surface finishes of footpaths, new finishes include granite paving, exposed aggregate concrete paving, Glass concrete paving bands. - The removal of selected car park areas - The installation of public lighting - The installation of new regulatory and pedestrian signage as well as road markings - Changes in the road pavement, new asphalt surface course - Excavation works and reinstatement of pavement layers. - The re-location of some underground services and utilities - Adjustments to existing drainage network and provision of new surface water drainage in Chapel Street Lot 1: The site is located in Ballaghaderreen County Rosscommon and includes Market Square, parts of Main street (R293), parts of Barrack Street (L1244) parts of Pound Street (R293) Cathedral Street and Chapel Street.
