Tender description
Derry City and Strabane District Council invites tenderers to apply for three separately priced works packages. Work Package 1 is for Public Realm (Triangle Centre) Town Centre. Upgrade of existing public realm facilities at the Diamond, Castlederg. Works consist of new high quality natural stone paving, lighting, seating, and a village green with a high-quality grass drainage system. Work Package 2 Castle Park. This includes Greenway East and West Lighting, Castle Park Play Area and St Eugene's GAC mini play area. Work Package 3 Dergview FC Greenway on a Flood Plain. The delivery of new greenway infrastructure on lands in the ownership of Dergview FC to the south west of the town. It is anticipated all work packages will commence on site in January 2024, with a 12-month construction programme, enabling completion by the end of December 2024 to meet The Levelling Up Funding (LUF) deadline for expenditure.
