Tender description

Youghal Lighthouse is a cylindrical masonry tower approx. 5.5m in diameter and 15m in height, surmounted by a cast iron lantern and dome. It is located within a walled enclosure together with two single storey outbuildings, beside the public road and a public footpath. The works consist of: Surface preparation and painting of the masonry walls of the Lighthouse, out-buildings and boundary wall; Surface preparation and painting of the cast iron site railings, balcony railing, lantern, dome, ventilators and gutters of the lighthouse and out-buildings; Surface preparation and re-painting of external timber joinery in the lighthouse, out-buildings and entrance gate.
