Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Tender description

To appoint a supplier able to provide all elements of electric vehicle charge point (EVCP) installation and operation, exact requirement for which would be determined on a site-by-site basis. Services required include design, groundworks, supply, delivery, connection, commissioning, maintaining and operation of EVCP within SMBC. SMBC have provisionally identified a number of sites for the installation of EVCP's and are in the process of securing funding through the On-Street Residential Charging Scheme (ORCS) grant fund to install an initial 17 sites. It is anticipated that further installations will be undertaken during the course of the coming five years, whether grant-funded or directly funded by SMBC. It is the intention of this tender to procure a supplier through which all installations would be commissioned and all charge points subsequently maintained and operated.
