Render Improvement Works at Speirsfield Court & Camphill Court, Paisley

Tender description

Renfrewshire Council seeks to appoint a competent and suitably qualified Contractor to carry out render improvement works (in accordance with manufacturers guidelines) to Speirsfield Court and Camphill Court, Paisley. Renfrewshire Council requires the Contractor to carry out improvements to the render, strip existing silicone and renew around all windows and paint finish on all elevations of Speirsfield and Camphill Courts in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Renfrewshire Council requires the Contractor to power wash windows prior to the installation of window protection. All facades to be power washed with anti-fungicidal wash, using a stiff brush in areas where required, prior to the application of primer (2 coats) and top-coat (2 coats) to ensure clean bond of paint to existing surface. The Contractor is required to seal crazing and cracks to the render and renewal the silicone seals around all windows and openings to prevent moisture from entering the external wall insulation. A Matrix of defects on each elevation of both blocks of flats are included within the specification documents.
