Provision of DRT Services in the West Midlands

TfWM (Transport for the West Midlands, part of the West Midlands Combined Authority) is looking to provide door-to-door transport services to citizens in the West Midlands are who cannot use mainstream public transport in our communities. We aim to deliver this service on the basis of the following key principles: - A 5 year contract commencing in July 2024 - Delivery through a defined partnership model - The West Midlands area may be split into 3 discrete areas for delivery (Lots) i.e. the Black Country, Birmingham, and Coventry and if so no bidder will be able to win more than two operating areas - Modern fleet with a minimum Euro VI emission standards and seek to explore opportunities for transition to zero emission fleet with new partners - Potential to include an expanded operation to include West Midlands On-Demand Services If you wish to express your interest in the project and / or attend our Market Engagement day on 19th July 2023 commencing at 1pm please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk) and access our PQQ, the reference is pqq_183.
