1.1 Location of Site The site is a stone boundary wall at the rear of the properties which separates Knightstone View, 15 Grove Park Road, Weston Super Mare (owned by LiveWest) with 17 Grove Park Road, Weston Super Mare (owned by a private owner). The postcode for the properties is BS23 2LW. 1.2 Description of the Works The works involve the removal and rebuilding of approximately 7 l/m of natural stone walling which separates the two properties. The nature of the works means that some access will be needed via the garden of the private owner of number 17 Grove Park. The Contractor will therefore be required to undertake the works in a sympathetic manner and in conjunction with the private owner, understanding the private owners’ right to privacy and quiet enjoyment of his property and ensuring that liaison with the private owner takes place at all times. A Structural Engineer has prepared a Structural Report which is included in the Appendices of the tender documents.
