HRA Responsive Repairs, Out of Hours, Void Refurbishments, Energy Works and Planned Works

Tender description

Medway Council wish to appoint an experience and professional contractor for The delivery of a responsive repairs service, including an emergency out of hours service, void refurbishment works to empty homes and the delivery of energy surveys, retrofit, and associated services and works. Furthermore, the contract will include the delivery of planned works programmes including kitchen & bathroom, window & door and roof replacements; wall, balcony and fencing improvements; door entry system and communal door upgrades and cyclical redecoration. The works required under this contract will be undertaken to circa 3000 properties and 250 blocks owned and managed by Medway Council (subject to change with new build delivery and Right to Buy sales). The Contract will be for an initial period of 6 years with an option to extend for a further period 3 years plus 3 years up to a total of 12 years. The maximum contract term will therefore be 12 years.
