Tender description

980 metres of road improvement works involving narrowing of carriageway within the corridor to include segregated cycle tracks and footpaths, improved/optimised traffic lane widths, upgrade of traffic signal control at Mungret Gate junction to a BusConnects style protected junction with new ITS control system, realignment of priority controlled junctions, road construction and reconstruction, new surface water drainage collection system, new street lighting system, new telecommunications & ITS utility services ducting, new boundary treatments, bus stop infrastructure, road resurfacing, new road markings, signage landscaping and accommodation works. Works will be phased to facilitate school operations and for traffic management associated with other road schemes.
