Tender description
The Council was seeking to appoint a contractor for the design under and Pre Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) and delivery of the rail infrastructure works to support the development at Meridian Water. The works included: GRIP 5 – 7, design. delivery and hand back of assets to Network Rail for works including approximately 1200 m of track loop at Ponders End Station (WAML), overhead line equipment (OLE); Turnouts and Signalling modifications; Retaining structures to Brimsdown ditch and Bridge modifications. Lot 1: The Council was seeking to appoint a contractor for the design under and Pre Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) and delivery of the rail infrastructure works to support the development at Meridian Water. The PCSA was awarded, however, due to exceptional inflationary pressures, the contract for the rail infrastructure works is on hold. Therefore, the procurement of the works will not progress further under this notice.
