East Renfrewshire Council are looking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake deliver a project for additional accommodation provided in the annex building consists of 2 no.classrooms at 57sqm each. One classroom has a kitchen area. The entrance lobby gives access to one wheelchair accessible WC and one ambulant WC. Cleaners store with plant area and General store housing the IT servers are provided. Building is timber kit construction with a pitched roof. External cladding consists of facing brick and timber cladding. The roof is an aluminium standing seam roof with external gutters and downpipes. The pitched roof has photo-voltaic panels fixed to it. The floor is a concrete ground bearing slab. Glazing consists of double glazed windows and door screens. Note; Isobel Mair School provides specialist provision for pupils, aged 3 to 18, who have additional support needs. Route 2 Work contract to deliver a construction contract including building is timber kit construction with a pitched roof. External cladding consists of facing brick and timber cladding. There are also kitchen and sanitary ware installation and fixed furnishings. Services works will include plumbing heating, ventilation, IT and lighting installations. The project also includes groundworks, preparation of site, careful removal and re-siting of existing play structure, construction of foundations, alterations to fencing and paths. All service connections linking external classroom block to existing school building.
