Tender description

There are main objectives as part of the St Dominic's Bridge Rehabilitation Works are to carry out the following rehabilitation works to the bridge: •Strengthening of pier columns, through wrapping the same with a composite epoxy reinforcing fabric to strengthen the piers. •Replacement of damaged/ missing cross bracing members at the piers. •Horizontal tie members to be replaced. •Repair to concrete edge beams. •Grit blasting and installation of a protective paint system for all elements •Strengthening/replacement of elements with significant cross-section loss •Repointing of masonry abutments •Replacement of bridge bearing •Provision of positive drainage system. •Replacement of existing concrete deck slab •Installation of waterproofing system to concrete deck •Installation of new surfacing and landscaping system to the bridge and tying to to the existing infrastructure on both sides of the structure
