Supply of Demonstration Dwellings built using MMC- Single and/or Two-Storey Completed 3D Volumetric Dwellings

Housing for All (Action 23.9) calls for a culture of good quality sustainable innovation in residential construction through the development of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), including the establishment of a Demonstration Park for MMC, and is led by Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE) and Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH). As Contracting Authority, Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable design-build contractors to deliver the first phase of MMC dwellings in the National Demonstration Park for MMC at the National Construction Training Campus, Mount Lucas, Co. Offaly.That first phase, and the sole focus of this Expressions of Interest, includes the provision of Single and/or Two Storey completed 3D volumetric stackable -horizontally and vertically - dwellings with all internal and external finishes and services installed. Lot 1: Housing for All – a New Housing Plan for Ireland is the Government’s housing plan to deliver more homes for people with different housing needs.
