Enabling Works / Demolition of the existing K-Building at Portmarnock Community School

Tender description

Demolition of the existing temporary unit - K-Building (c.1145m2); including removal of all associated asbestos, foundations, drainage, services connection etc. as required; relocation of the toilet block; reinstating area to grass/ gravel surface. Tenderers must sign the "DoE Suitability Declaration for Small Works", and if requested to do so must provide the necessary evidence of compliance stated in that document within 7 days, including evidence of annual turnover greater than 1.5 times the sum tendered, and Health & Safety competence. The Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a group of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.
