This tender is for the undertaking of repair works identified in Specialist Surveys to various bridges of different construction types throughout Fochabers and Glenlivet Estates. This tender is for the undertaking of repair works identified in Specialist Surveys to a selection of various bridges of different construction types throughout Fochabers and Glenlivet Estates. Bridge types include timber, masonry, reinforced concrete and steel bridges and also culvets associated with bridges. Further details of bridge types and repairs required are included in the ITT document. Repairs have been prioritised in terms of urgency of works. To allow progress to be monitored and The Client kept informed monthly reporting is required as part of the contract. This will be undertaken using a spreadsheet showing completed works marked, and planned works for the following month highlighted. Reporting A brief commentary will also be expected detailing any issues or observations made during the month. A recurring monthly date will be agreed at contract issue for this reporting to be completed. Site Visits Site visits may be undertaken at any reasonable time as long as a copy of this tender document is kept with you during the visit. The tenders cover different land tenancies under the CES ownership but all tenants will be informed of the potential for unaccompanied visits being made. All tendered must ensure that they act responsibly during all visits -No dogs allowed on site -Do not block access roads -Do not take vehicles into fields or off roads/tracks -Ensure all gates are left as found, and if opened closed securely -Do not take access to fields where livestock may pose a threat without first checking with the farmer -Any issues should be raised and recorded with S&P contract manager by phone or email as soon as possible. Verbal reports should be followed up in writing as soon as practical.
