Tender description

• Remove and store existing fencing, gates, and posts to 3G pitch. • Install protective polythene covers to 3G pitch. • Excavate trial pits to ascertain ground conditions. • Investigate existing duct runs from Physics building that go under the roadway to ascertain if there’s sufficient additional capacity for power and data for the Sports Dome. • If the existing ducts have sufficient spare capacity, make a connection into the ducting man- hole on pitch side of road and run new ducts to the plant area for the Sports Dome. This will require moleing the ducts under the running track • Excavate ring beam foundation trenches (to include 150mm French drain to all outer perimeters), plant hard standing and entrance/exit hard standings and entrance pathway. • Construct and install reinforcement cages to foundation trenches. • Infill trenches with C35 concrete mix • Install geotextile membrane and 150mm depth of stone hard standing for plant and entrance/exit areas. • Install concrete foundations, aprons and pathways. • Install fencing to new perimeters. • Install electrical and data supplies from Physics to plant area, plus further electrical and data outfitting installation works to be undertaken upon erection of Sports Dome, including metering and building control monitoring. Commission, test and record electrical and data installations. • Clean site
