NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE A47 Tuddenham to Easton Dualling Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 Tuddenham to Easton Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of Highways England. The project will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham, supporting economic growth and easing congestion in the area. The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2024 and will take around 2 years to complete. Package: Earthworks Outline Scope of Works - The Earthworks Package consists: To provide all necessary supervision, labour, plant and materials required to undertake the earthworks comprising the excavation, processing, placement and compaction of site won soils and the Import of suitable fill material to form the development platform to support the new road, structures and landscaping. The contractor will also be responsible for the disposal to stockpile or off site of any unacceptable or surplus soils and other materials generated during the bulk earthworks. Principal Activities Approximate Quantities: Excavation of class 5a: 210,326.00 m3 Excavation excluding class 5a: 751,507.00 m3 Deposition and compaction of fill: 671,355.00 m3 Soil Stabilisation (Caping): 84,241.00 m3 Re-soiling: 450,000.00 m2 Programme: It is anticipated that the Earthworks will commence in January 2024. Galliford Try Procurement Process: To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile.
