Stobhill Hospital - Erisky Ward Boilerhouse Upgrade & MacKinnon House Micro CHP Installation

Tender description

The Erisky Ward project works consist of completely refurbishing the existing Boilerhouse with new heating plant and equipment/systems etc. The MacKinnon House project works consist of the removal of an existing boiler from the recently refurbished boilerhouse and installing a small CHP unit complete with heat distributor unit, power factor unit, control panel unit and 100 litre thermal storage vessel. The Erisky Ward project works consist of completely refurbishing the existing Boilerhouse with new heating plant and equipment/systems etc. with new boilers, flue systems, pumps, valves etc., and replacing the existing indirect LTHW fed domestic hot water calorifier with new nonstorage dhw plate heat exchangers with ·a duty/standby arrangement including all supporting works required to facilitate the installation of new systems including partially upgrading works to the existing Building Management System (BMS). The MacKinnon House project works consist of the removal of an existing boiler from the recently refurbished boilerhouse and installing a small CHP unit complete with heat distributor unit, power factor unit, control panel unit and 100 litre thermal storage vessel. A new dedicated flue system shall be provided (for the CHP unit) to run separately from the existing common flue header system serving the remaining boilers. All pipework shall be modified as required to facilitate the integration of the CHP system into the existing LTHW system. The existing control panel shall be modified to take account of these changes and the front end BMS graphics updated as required to take account of all the changes.
