Waterford Institute of Technology are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable qualifying contractors to tender for a number of Term Contracts.

WIT are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable qualifying contractors to tender for a number of Term Contracts comprising the following trades; each being procured separately by way of Lots. The Lots are as follows: • Lot No. 1 – Suspended Ceiling Works Term Contract • Lot No. 2 – Floor Finishes (Sheet Flooring) Term Contract • Lot No. 3 – Painting Works Term Contract WIT intend to appoint a term contractor for each of the Lots noted above for associated works and projects which individually are not envisaged to be greater in value than €10,000.00. The term contract works will be ad-hoc / maintenance / refurbishment type projects. They will also include emergency type projects and require a response time of 1 hour. The extent and scope of works will fulfil the requirements of the WIT as they arise and will be agreed on an ongoing basis and executed subject to the issue of the relevant appointment documentation. The duration of the term contract will be 2 years with an option to extend by 1 additional year. The works may take place in any of the Waterford Institute of Technology’s properties in Waterford City and County namely: Cork Road Campus, West Campus Carriganore, College Street Campus, IDA Industrial Estate and other small properties within Waterford City. This is a 2 stage restricted process, this being stage 1 of the process (request for qualification/expression of interest stage), wherein applicants will be pre-qualified on the basis of the information submitted, before progressing to stage 2 of the process. Stage 2 of the process will involve the issue of tender documents to all qualifying contractors for the various term contracts. Contract Award: 1.
