SFT/BT/065 Refurbishment of a retail unit at Angel Place Bridgwater into a Talking Therapies Unit

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust are looking to relocate their Talking Therapies Team into a more central accessible location. A lease has been taken out for what use to be the EDF unit in Angel Place shopping Centre. The project is to refit the unit to provide consulting rooms, office and meeting space and staff facilities. The contractor is asked to provide a cost and programme to carry out the works detailed in the attached drawings / specification. A copy of the M&E validation report and the asbestos survey for the unit has been attached for information. The Supplier will carry out the refurbishment / construction of the unit identified in the specification at Angel Place Bridgwater to create a Talking Therapies unit for the client. This will consist of:- (a) Reception and Office Space (b) Waiting Area (c) Therapy Consulting rooms (d) New Accessible WC (e) Meeting Space (f) Office Area (g) Refurbished Kitchen (h) Refurbished Staff WC’s Architectural and M&E drawings have been provided along with a copy of the asbestos survey, acoustic survey and M&E validation survey.
