The DPS agreement is for the supply of food to go and Retail Café Concepts including but not limited to patient feeding; sandwiches, salads, soups and snack pots, For retail outlets; Sandwiches, Salads, Pasties, Sandwich Fillings, Snack pots, cakes, pastries, street food, soups, confectionery, snacks, drinks. The DPS is anticipated to be in place for 6 years. The purpose of this notice is to draw attention to a procurement that NHS Supply Chain intends to commence during the subsequent 12 months. The DPS is divided into Categories and applicants may apply to be included on any or all of the product lots. Applicants will only be admitted to product categories applied for if the core DPS selection criteria and are met by the applicant. Applicants who have been unsuccessful in meeting the criteria to become an ‘Admitted Supplier’ may re-submit another revised submission at any time during the 6 year validity period. Whilst it is anticipated that initial expenditure under any forthcoming procurement will be in the region of £10m per annum. Procurement of the following categories to be delivered directly into NHS sites: Patient and retail food-to-go and associated products including sandwiches, filled rolls and subs, bagels, baguettes, wraps, flatbreads, focaccias, toasties and paninis, Hospitality sandwiches and salads, Sandwich fillings, Sweet and savoury Pastry products, Street eat food, Cakes, leaf, pasta or noodle-based salads, snacks pots, hot boxes, savoury pastries, yogurts, fruit and other desserts, Soups, Confectionery & snacks, Drinks. Lot 1: Lot No: 1 Patient Feeding Solutions This product range consists of prepared patient feeding sandwiches, soups, salads and snack pots. Lot 2: Lot No: 2 Retail Café Concepts Food to Go including but not limited to: A range of core sandwiches with specialist dietary requirements to include but not limited to Gluten Free, Vegan, Halal and Kosher. Products that are traditionally found in café outlets are also included.
