Tender description
<p>As part of its decarbonisation programme, the Port of Felixstowe is replacing diesel powered equipment with autonomous electrically powered tractor units. Rather than the vehicles being parked and charged, the batteries for the tractor units are swapped by a robot at a battery swapping station (supplied and installed by others), however, the battery swapping station is required to be housed inside a building to protect it from the weather.</p> Keywords: electric vehicle
