<p>Wychavon District Council are inviting quotes for the dismantling &amp; reconstruction of a timber constructed Salt Barge located within Vines Park, Droitwich. This structure represents the towns heritage to salt production and is a standout structure located in the park which is central to Droitwich Town.</p> <p>The works consist of removing the existing timber barge construction and replacing with a similar like for like timber structure. A concrete block &amp; slab formwork exists under the timber structure, this is to remain and to be used for reinstallation. Ancillary works consist of replacing the stone surface &amp; timber signage boards acting as the sail.</p> <p>Please see the procurement documents for further information.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.</p> <p>To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.
