Tender description
Offaly County Council is seeking expressions of interest from landowners who would consider selling land to the Council for housing development by the Council. Development land, to be of interest to the Council, should be well located within, or very close to, town/village boundaries and be within walking distance of primary services such as school, shop, community facilities, etc. Where a zoning map for the town/village has been adopted by the Council, the zoning of the site in the relevant Local Area/County Development Plan must be compatible with residential development. An ‘Expressions of Interest’ Briefing Document is available on e-tenders and on the council’s website at: https://www.offaly.ie/eng/Services/Housing/Construction/Land Acquisition Submissions must be received no later than 12pm on Thursday 30th March 2023. Details regarding submissions are contained in the Briefing Document. Offaly County Council is not obliged to purchase any land submitted as part of this process.
