Tender description

A 3 Phase development consisting of the partial demolition, alteration, extension and change of use of the former Kilroy’s store to a new Community Arts Centre at High Street and Tara Street, Tullamore, County Offaly. Phase 1- works will include alterations to the layout and elevations of the existing building with a new roof to the first floor level to the rear of the building. The new extension will be over 4 levels to form a new theatre space and ancillary accommodation and bar area. Phase 2- works will include the completion of first and second fix mechanical, electrical and fitout works to the arts spaces in the existing building at lower ground, ground and first floor levels. Phase 3- works will include alterations to Meath lane and the Arts Centre external environment including new paving, site lighting landscaping, external event space and loading access and other ancillary site development works, drainage, paving and landscaping. The proposed development is adjacent to existing protected structures on high street.
