Proposed Refurbishment & Alteration Works to Ballinascarthy Community Hall

Tender description

The scope of refurbishment works proposed generally comprises: - - Removal of existing roof finishes, gutters and down-pipes to the main hall roof and side annex roofs. - Removal of roof structure to the main hall. - Removal of isolated sections of structure to annex roof locations. - New steel & timber roof structure to main hall - New insulated metal clad roof finish to main hall and side annex roofs, complete with replacement of flashing's and rainwater goods. - Installation of new ceiling finishes where roof structure replaced. - Redecoration to areas disturbed by the roof replacement works. - Completion of electrical installations resulting from the above works, together with and including electrical works necessary to comply with Fire Cert. - Removal of existing stage and disposal off site. - Installation of a new insulated concrete floor slab under the existing stage area. - Installation of a folding stage system. - External surface water drainage works. - Completion of works in compliance with the recently prepared Fire Certificate & DAC Certificate applications.  The main contractor will be required to comply with the code of practice for inspecting and certifying buildings and works as defined in SINo.9 of 2014 Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014.
