SC21021 Phoenix Community Primary School - Remedial Works

Tender description

The Kent County Council's (the Contracting Authority) Capital Projects Department are looking to procure a Principal Contractor via the KCC Principal Contractors Framework Lot 1 to provide construction services for remedial works at Phoenix Community Primary School in Ashford. A contractor design portion is also required to complete the works. The services are required for Phoenix Primary School where an intrusive investigation has highlighted dilapidations to the building requiring remedial works as outlined in the Appendix 1 Outline Remedial Specification document. The roofing works will form the Contractors design portion of the contract and is to be carried out by a Kingspan approved contractor. The school are to decant into temporary classroom buildings for the duration of the works. However careful logistical planning is still required to ensure a safe working environment and day to day running of the school, as non-affected areas of the building will still be in use.
