Fire Safety Work: installation of fire stopping materials, equipment and fittings to existing mechanical and electrical services. Fire stopping should be certified by accredited installer. Works/tender includes for fire stopping installations to existing mechanical and electrical services installations. Due to the specialist nature, it is essential that the tendering contractor has the necessary experience, knowledge and expertise to carry out the work. All equipment and materials must comply with current industry standards. The Contractor tendering to carry out the work must be a specialist fire stopping contractor with a minimum of 5 years experience carrying out similar work in High Rise Flats. The Contractor must: Be a Hilti Approved Installer. Use the Hilti Documentation Manager to record the assets. Hold Active Registration with BM TRADA as a Fire Stopping Installer. Carry out 3rd party certification for the works as per the BM Trada Q Mark scheme. Hold an active Category B asbestos training certificate. Have an In-House Resident Liaison Team. Hold ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001, (Environmental) Certification.
