Red Kite Community Housing (Red Kite) is seeking to appoint a single service provider for handyman services. If your company would like to be considered for this contract, you will be required to complete an Invitation to tender (ITT) submission. We are registered with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) who monitor and regulate what we do to make sure that we meet the standards for managing and maintaining homes. Wycombe District Council also monitor what we do. We manage around 6630 properties which were transferred from the Council on 12th December 2011. These are mainly on estates in the urban centers of High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Marlow, with others on estates in rural areas such as Lane End, Stokenchurch and Bourne End. Red Kite Community Housing is inviting tenders for the provision of various handyman services across our properties. Our properties include flats, bungalows and individual homes. On occasion we may also require works to garage sites, individual garages or play areas. These works will only be those described in the contract specifications. Some of the works will include: moving and storing furniture, assisting with tenant decants, disconnecting and disposal of white goods, cleaning empty properties, locksmith work, replacing garage doors and frames, jet washing, minor plumbing, carpentry or electrical repairs. Full details of the works is detailed in the specification, provided as part of the ITT document.
