The Scheme location is at the former location of Butchers Footbridge, which carried a public footpath over the Afon Sirhowy. Its located south of Newtown Industrial Estate, Crosskeys, at Os Grid Reference E322150, N191307. Site access, site compound , material storage area will be located within MCI Logistics Ltd site.It is proposed that the replacement footbridge will be located at the same position as the failed structure. All details required are included in the tender documentationWorks at the site will comprise:• Removal of failed material from the southern slope.• Stabilisation of the southern slope by soil nailing.• Installation of sheet piles along the southern bank to act as scour protection and to act as formwork for the front of the new bridge abutment foundation as well as to retain material to create a level platform for construction.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=118360.
