Lot 2: Finance Advisor Services for Sizewell C (via RM6187 Management Consultancy Framework 3 Lot 4 - Finance)

Tender description

The BEIS Sizewell C (SZC) Project team sought to re-procure new contracts for the provision of technical, financial and project management support services to support the SZC Project. These are to replace the current contracts in place, which expire / reach their maximum value from October - December this year. Due to the complexity of a new nuclear build and potential funding mechanisms requiring specialist external skills and experience, these advisory services are a critical enabler to the financing and technical workstreams and essential to the continued development of the SZC project. This capability will support BEIS to gain assurance of the SZC project capability, delivery and overall cost and risks to substantiate a credible basis of any further investment and provision of support mechanisms. To deliver BEIS' ambition for SZC, specialist capability is sought from external technical, financial and other advisors, building on the models and work already implemented, to continue support in providing assurance of a credible and competent SZC project to enable a Final Investment Decision.
