Tender description

GNI seeks to contract an independent market assurance provider who will provide assurance to market participants (e.g. Gas Networks Ireland and gas suppliers) and CRU regarding the compliance of each market participants’ systems and business processes with the gas market design, thus mitigating the risk of disruption to the market. The assurance may be applied to: a. New entrants seeking to enter the market as gas shippers / suppliers; or b. Existing participants may need to ‘requalify’ due to a change in their scope of operations, changes to their systems / processes, or changes to market systems / processes. Further detail is to be found in appendix 3 Scope and the ‘Market Assurance Strategy’ document appendix 4 of the PQQ.
