Multi-Party Framework for supply and maintenance of Light Engineering Equipment to the GRETB Training Centre

Tender description

The GRETB Training Centre has a recurring requirement for the manufacture, supply, installation and maintenance of bespoke light engineering equipment to solve unique requirements and issues. The GRETB is seeking to establish a multi-party framework agreement from which companies will be used for the supply of these goods and services as the needs arise. Success under this process will result in appointment to a multi-supplier framework. GRETB will use the Cascade System for awarding contracts under this Framework Agreement. The successful Supplier/s will be required to design, manufacture, supply, install and maintain the following (but not limited to) type of products; • Metal Racking Systems • Trolleys • Light perspex screens • Industrial Shelving • Wheeled trollies • Compressed air lines • Custom built Workbenches • Bespoke light engineered motor workshop equipment such as engine rig trolleys • Shelter structures (smoking shelters, bike shelters) The equipment required may need to be made from a range of light engineering materials i.e. aluminium, steel, plastic etc. and may be one off pieces of equipment built from scratch. Solutions will be for a specific piece of equipment not available off-the-shelf. The successful Supplier/s will also be required to carry out any planned/unplanned maintenance and repairs on existing engineering works/equipment in the training centre e.g. metal tipping skips, trolleys etc. Examples of maintenance that may be required; Lubricants/oil top up and greasing if required Adjustment of tolerances Tightening nuts, bolts, screws etc. Replace bulbs if required Replacing perished rubber, hose, washers, etc. if required. Check safety screens. Replacements of welds Moving or repositioning of fixed equipment Cutting of steel and Rewelding
