Grasmere House Refurbishment

Tender description

The Bernicia Group require the communal areas at one of their sheltered housing schemes - Grasmere House, Grasmere Avenue, Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE6 2QU, to be refurbished to include ground and first floor mobility scooter stores, new hair dressing salon, open plan kitchen to the ground floor common room and first floor quiet lounge with tea point. The existing poor air circulation in the ground and first floor corridors is also to be addressed with new mechanical and passive ventilation systems introduced as part of the M&E services design strategy. All the communal area interior doors are to be replaced as part of these works, the majority of which are fire doors including the flat entrance doors.
