Design and Build of a New Pavilion

Tender description

Wing Parish Council are to appoint suitably experienced and qualified Design and Build Contractor to carry out the works to Wing Recreation Ground, Leighton Road, Wing, Buckinghamshire, LU7 0NW. The work will include the demolition of the exiting Bowls Clubhouse, construction of a new pavilion, for Bowls and Football Clubs and community use, car park extension and amendment to the vision splay and necessary drainage works. The site of the new pavilion is to be on the site of the existing Bowls clubhouse. Planning permission of a new pavilion has been Granted (See planning app 19/04069/APP). The Parish Council is open to consider alternative simpler form building designs that can deliver the requirements. The football changing rooms and facilities must be to Football Association standards for both Home and away teams and officials. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Design and Build New Pavilion and posted to Wing Parish Council, PO Box 6441, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 6FT Deadline for receipt of tenders is Friday 11th February. All tenders will be opened on Saturday 12th February.
