Provision of Services for Bike Share Scheme for Navan – 12-month pilot

Meath County Council is seeking tenders from a service provider to roll out, operate and maintain a bike share scheme, (herein referred to as BSS) in Navan town for an initial pilot period of 12 months starting in June 2023 with the option thereafter to secure the scheme on a more permanent basis. The option of making the scheme permanent will be considered based on the overall success of the 12-month pilot and availability of the necessary funding. The proposed scheme must: • Provide value for money for regular users and visitors alike • Be easy to operate • Operate with bikes of high quality and in roadworthy condition • Operate to a high standard of service, reliability, and safety • Allow for a range of payment options e.g. membership and Pay As You Go (PAYG) options • Comprise a minimum of 50No. bikes (20No. push bikes, 25No. E-Bikes and 5No. E-Cargo Bikes) at locations to be agreed with the Contracting Authority
