Two Year Window and Door Replacement Contract at Barrhead and Neilston, East Renfrewshire

Tender description

The Contract primarily involves the replacement and installation of new double glazed uPVC windows, composite external doorsets to main external doors, metal common close entrance doors and sixty minute fire rated timber flat entrance doors to existing properties throughout Barrhead and Neilston, East Renfrewshire. The properties included within the contract consist of modern two storey housing, two storey cottage flats, three and four storey modern flats and three or four storey sandstone tenement flats. The Contract will include Barrhead Housing Association’s 2022-2023 (Phase 1) and 2023-2024 (Phase 2) programmes of works. The Contractor will be required to complete the works to all Phase 1 properties prior to commencing the works to the Phase 2 properties. Bidders are also advised that all common close windows, common close external door, flat entrance door and external house door replacement works are provisional and subject to available finance from Barrhead Housing Association and agreement with owner occupiers (where applicable).
