<p>The London Borough of Waltham Forest have four groups of schools that require a review to inform and support the council’s policy to create Greener buildings – retrofitting buildings to reduce the demand for energy, heat and water and adapt to a changing climate. Improving the energy efficiency of assets to help reduce carbon emissions. Procurement of a consultant to carry out an in-depth live Decarbonisation Strategy of four Schools; Gywn Jones, Oakhill Primary School (3220m.sq) Dawlish and Henry Maynard Infants School (2763m.sq), the report is to be in compliance with PAS 2038. The recommendations will consider: • Whole life carbon in conjunction with whole life costing • Balance recommendations to replace components with existing embodied carbon • Limit upfront embodied carbon • Provide onsite renewable energy • Take a strategic approach to reduce and eventually eliminate the use of fossil fuels The contract will be awarded using unamended Consultancy Agreement (Public Sector), 2016 Edition</p> Keywords: Decarbonisation, Net Zero Carbon, Energy, Carbon
