Busy Bees Childcare Facility, Arva, Co Cavan - Retrofit Busy Bees under Pobal's Building Block Improvement Grant - to include upgrades to heating, windows, insulation, electrics, plumbing & Misc

We are a community-run not-for-profit Childcare Facility based in Arva, Co Cavan & have applied for Pobal's Building Blocks Improvement Grant funding - strand B, which is min 35,000 & max 75,000 including VAT. The bulk of the works would need to be completed during school break in Summer 2023. We have an Improvement Report & would like to tackle as many of the points identified as possible while staying within budget: 1. Upgrade all windows to new energy efficient triple glazed windows with a U-Value of 1.4W/M2K 2. Insulate external walls with an insulated slab secured to the internal face of the perimeter of the building 3. Re- Design heating system and replace radiators 4. Upgrade existing water heater which is a 7 day heater and facility is opened 5 days per week 5. Upgrade existing electric fuse box switchboard 6. All lighting to be replaced with LEDs 7. Upgrade door handles 8. Upgrade light switches 9. Remodel unused toilet into a usable room 10. Board up internal windows in baby room and pre school room Floor plans & photos available
