The University wishes to create a more robust and flexible provision for the use of its Multi-sports All Weather Pitch by creating a canopy over the area in the form of a sports dome which will provide full use of the facility whatever the weather with climate controls within the dome to suit the activities that are being carried out inside. The proposed dome will extend the full width and length of the sports pitch and will create much greater flexibility to the Sports Centre for the use of the area
